in june 1997 riviera lodge opened the first backpacker / youth hostel in Vevey, a
starting point for visiting the unesco heritage site of lavaux and the montreux riviera region of lake geneva
whether called a youth hostel, a guesthouse, a backpacker hostel or a budget hotel, riviera lodge is a guarantee of quality.
A founding member of swissbackpackers, today united under the label "swiss hostel"
in 1997, at the opening of the backpacker hostel, riviera lodge announced its intention to focus on the client and wrote : "All through the conception, setting up, and operation of the riviera lodge concept, client satisfaction has been our guiding principle"
the client is our "raison d'être", and we know that a satisfied client will be our best ambassador;
our participation in level 2 of swiss tourism's quality programme has been the guarantee of this commitment
